SustainHealth: Recruiting in NSW
Having worked in the health and well being sector for a number of years, it’s always been a true passion of mine. I knew and understood the sector from a clinical, hands on, perspective but not so much from a from a recruitment perspective. I had always known there was someone behind the scenes, trying to find that perfect person for the job… now that person’s me!
At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to succeed in such a fast paced, high volume role. I would describe myself as laid-back, and not your ‘typical recruiter’. However, I absolutely love it and I’m thriving!
What I love about my role as a Para Consultant, is that I get to talk to so many wonderful and talented health professionals on a daily basis; from your New Graduates to Directors of Nursing and everything in between. I thoroughly enjoy hearing about the different experiences and stories my candidates go through in both their career and their personal lives.
Hundreds of nurses and midwives are taking up work in rural and remote locations across Australia for more of a challenging, fulfilling role. And why not? What’s better than being able to do what you love & travel? (Maybe a nice, cold glass of wine after a shift but you can do that too!!) Contract roles are an area I specialise in, so you can always reach out to discuss the variety positions we have vacant in rural and remote NSW and beyond.
I pride myself on building strong relationships with every candidate I work with. I genuinely care and hope that I am able to find that perfect role for the hardworking, dedicated nurses and midwives I support, so that they are able to continue to progress in their profession. When I am able to do just that, it’s such a rewarding feeling. It makes all of the hard-work, blood, sweat & tears worth it!
To be part of a new, start up business here at SustainHealth, I am able to continue to grow and learn my craft with a supportive and strong team around me, who are all doing the same thing, working hard to find our candidates the best roles on the market!
